โIn a development that has residents of Chattanooga's Tunnel Boulevard both bemused and genuinely inconvenienced, at least six pigs have moved into the neighborhood and simply refused to leave. The pigs โ bold, fearless, and apparently unbothered by the concept of private property โ have been casually strolling into yards and digging them up like they pay rent. Neighbors have contacted the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, animal control, and the local animal center, and every single one has essentially shrugged.โ

Why It's Weird
The most bewildering news often comes from situations where multiple unlikely events align perfectly. While the weirdness score is more modest, the story still offers a fascinating glimpse into life's unexpected moments.
March 9 (UPI) -- Residents of a Tennessee neighborhood said a group of at least six pigs have taken up residence in the area and show no sign of leaving.
Locals in the Tunnel Boulevard neighborhood of Chattanooga said they first started noticing the pigs a couple weeks ago, and up to six of the animals have been spotted at the same time.
They said the pigs do not appear afraid of humans, and will casually stroll into -- and dig up -- their yards.
Neighbors said they have contacted agencies including the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, local animal control and the McKamey Animal Center, but thus far no one has been able to help.
